m.QandA: Where Your Questions Truly Matter

I'd like to take a moment to acknowledge anyone and everyone that has ever asked me a question in the past.

Your questions have often forced me to reach for new knowledge, challenge my own position and at times, to stretch my capabilities and imagination (ok, that might be pushing it a bit).

But you have all helped me to grow in the process and for that, I'm grateful.

It's for you that I dedicate and erect this new category in The (samsung) Code of Metro PCS called m.QandA---mQandA is short for mobile Questions & Answers.

This is now a dedicated section of this site where you or anyone else can ask all of your questions.

Let's begin with your first question, shall we?

  2. Hey Wing,

Outside of making a registry tweak (which I'll cover in a future article), but here is one way to increase your font size without messing with your registry:

    1. Go to Start -> Settings -> Accessibility.
    2. Select Large in the System font size click thru menu.
    3. Hit your Left Soft Key to select Done.

This will change the font size to Large on EVERYTHING but your homescreen.

    Does that help?

  3. Is there a touchscreen dialer for the Code? Id like to use something besides those tiny keys to dial numbers.

  4. Is there a touchscreen dialer for the Code? Touchscreen capabilities are limited to smartphones that:

    - Have the touchscreen enabled LCD screen.
    - Are running Windows Mobile 6.1 Professional (or higher)

The Samsung Code has neither (non-touchscreen LCD and it runs Windows Mobile 6.1 Standard).

    Sorry...

  5. You seem to be very knowledgeable on this subject. Is there any explanation that you may have as to why my e-mails just disapear? I receive them just fine, but if I go back to view them later, they are gone, and nowhere to be found. I even check other folders, and find nothing. I basically have it set up to where the e-mails I get at home on my road runner account also come to my cell phone. It is a typical pop server type deal, and the e-mails come to my phone amazingly fast (which i love), but it's annoying that they dissaper into air after a specific amount of time passes. Any suggestions? Thanks so much in advance!

  6. Disappearing emails, huh?

Do you see them when you go to Start -> Messaging -> Email Account?

Are you syncing with a PC, if so, what is your OS version?

I suspect that an ActiveSync setting might be the culprit...
